It's well known that RAF Scampton was the base of the Dambusters who were based there during World War II.
In this evocative picture and in tribute to the history, Roy has captured the 2009 Royal Air Force Aerobatic Team in Lancaster formation flying over this famous airfield with a ghostly Lancaster in the smoke trails of the Red Hawks as they swoop in the sky.
